Foundation Stone Laid for Rs 84.74 Crore Tourism and Sports Projects in Champhai

Minister of State Lalnghinglova Hmar presided over the foundation stone laying ceremony for three major projects under the Sports and Youth Services and Tourism Departments at Thangtea Hall, Champhai Kahrawt on 8 April 2026.
The total investment for the three projects amounts to Rs 84.742 crore.
On the same day, the Minister also laid the foundation stone for the Development of Basic Amenities project at Lal Mual in Vangchhia village under the PRASHAD Scheme, further strengthening tourism infrastructure in the region.
